Peterman had only attempted 43 passes and been in college for two years prior to coming to Pitt to compete with Voytik. Jurkovec had five seasons of duck tossing under his belt.

I have no clue, but it's significantly worse than when Pitt played him at BC and even in high school.

You should pull up SOUFs post about Brennan Armstrong being a big loss from around the same time. I know it exists because I agreed and was very wrong. But I know you have better things to do with your time, unlike some.

Unfortunately, he duck tossed 31 points against arguably Narduzzi's most talented Pitt defense back in 2020. He was a 60% passer with 35 TDs and 17 INTs at BC.

I get he sucks, but I can definitely see the logic and thought process behind it. There were no good options going into this season at QB. They went with experience, familiarity, and knowledge of the playbook. It didn't work out & they pivoted as soon as they thought they could put CV in a position to succeed.

The transfer portal is going to leave some teams in a bad spot that's not always going to be easy to overcome. It happened to UVA this year too. They got a Monmouth transfer who is the definition of average and a 5'10" kid from Florida who was begging to be recruited. Shorty, aka Anthony Colandrea actually provided a bit of a spark, and he's kinda fun to watch until he starts winging it and flinging the ball down field into double coverage. He's good for 3 INTs a game.

I'm sure there are plenty of other examples, but Pitt & UVA are similar in that they pretty much had nobody after their projected starters bailed.
