5 Games on CW

Yea, KDKA+ used to be WPCW and carry the CW. Fubo doesnt have 22 The Point?

I think what confuses people is these carriage providers dont carry ABC, CBS, CW, etc. They carry WTAE, KDKA, WPNT who are affiliates of those channels so that's what you have to look for
No I don't see 22 the point. However, I found the game in the Roku live TV menu but it looks like it's being streamed on a direct TV app that I would have to pay for

Ok. Seems like some streaming providers dont carry the local channel that serves as the CW affiliate. Buy a digital antenna or switch to YTTV (if you are in WPA).

I had to buy something for me to get the cw channel, I have T-Mobile wi fi and Hulu, no cw without the item I bought. Not all cabl, satellite or streaming services have the cw network

- ALL cable has it as they carry all local channels

- Streaming and satellite providers may not as "local channels" arent always their thing

But its free to everyone if they have a digital antenna

That simply isn't true. They only carry the local channels if they come to a carriage agreement with them. Most of them do, but they all don't. And even when they do, there are times when the contracts are up that the channels go away for a while while they continue negotiating.

As an example, a quick google search tells you that just yesterday Comcast came to an agreement with someone who owns a couple of Fox channels to get those channels back on the air after "a months-long blackout".

Or how about this article from last month:

Blackouts

"Now in September, we have seen this prediction become a reality as Comcast, DIRECTV, DISH, and Spectrum all have active blackouts affecting some ABC, CBS, FOX, & NBC locals."

In other words, another one of those things that you absolutely know to be true that is, in reality, not.

Cable companies prioritize local TV. Could blackouts happen occasionally? Sure but its not common. I would say that every local CW affiliate is available at their local cable company.

Not "could". Do.

For god's sake man, I just linked an article talking about that very thing. And yet you still won't admit that you were wrong. At some level it's hilarious.

At a different level, it's sort of disturbing.

Lol. You linked an article that stated that a company who owns 18 Fox affiliates out West couldn't come to an agreement with Comcast and the 7 Disney-owned ABC affiliates couldn't come to an agreement with Spectrum so in the entire US, there are a small percentage of people who have Fox or ABC blacked out until the dispute is over. There are no current cable blackouts of CW affiliates. So, with cable, you are good to go. Another dub.

Telling everyone that you have no idea what you are talking about, without having to say the words.

You are not understanding that fairly brief contract disputes between 25 local affiliates of Fox or ABC aren't making your point that not all cable companies carry the local CW affiliate of The CW. They all do.

I understand exactly what the situation is. The person who says that every person who has cable has every local channel all the time, on the other hand....
