-We Have to win the bowl game. Thats the turning point for the program, I dont care who we play. Pass interference every play if you have to, win the dam bowl game.

Worlds better than the Chryst years or the graham debacle of a season.
He is clearly the best HC since Sherrill. It is a shame we do not have PS's schedule. We would have a legit shot at the Final 4.
I think most of us on here had Pitt regressing this year because of the schedule and losing Boyd. Gotta give Narduzzi credit, he's building a winning program here. Keep it up!
If we can win the bowl game, 9 wins this season is a humongous improvement from last season. The schedule was absolutely brutal this year, pretty average at best last year. To win more games you'd have said the team would have to be a lot better than last year's pretty good team.

Schedule was tougher this year.
The guy took down the Pedophiles and the number two team on the road.
The team is fun to watch - he plays to win.

No recent Pitt coach has won 8 games each the first two years. It's not easy. You're coming into a situation where you're taking over a team someone else recruited. On top of that every single regular season from 2011-14 was 6-6 (graham and Chryst). Wanny's last year 2010 was 7-5. Yet you'd expect someone to not only rebuild the program, but be better in years 1 and 2 than any team since years 4 and 5 of wanny?
Narduzzi's early career here has been a huge success. Seriously, 8-4 was about where every other coach got us in their best years (minus those 2 wanny years). If this is what narduzzi can do a) in his first two years taking over a team and b) in his first two years as a head coach... gotta say the future looks extremely bright.

Without quibbling about metrics of the two programs I'd like to keep Gottfried in the discussion.
As each game goes by, I feel more and more like Pitt can compete with almost any team in the country with the offense. The defense needs a ton of work, but the recruits coming in should help. The program is definitely heading in the right direction and needs to finish this season off with a bowl win.
