With a strong second half, the Pitt women beat VT 59 to 48. Oddly enough it is their 3rd ACC road win in a row, putting their ACC record at 3-9.
Pitt was down by 7 at the half, but outscored VT 39 to 21 in the second half. They spread out the points with Carey at 10, Wise with 12, Potvin with 14 and Bugg with 10 and Diop with 9. Pitt's bench scored only 4 points.
VT, who also is now 3-9 in the ACC, shot only 28% including only 1 for 14 from 3.
Carey had 12 rebounds and Wise had 10 for Pitt.
