Let's say Cal makes that 40-yard field goal. The ensuing kickoff would have been short enough to force a return, so let's say Pitt takes the ball at its own 20 with 1:45 on the clock and one timeout trailing 18-17.

Hypothetically, what chance would you give Pitt to come back and win? I know it was the worst offensive performance of the season and Eli Holstein looked off for most of the day. But I can't really shake the feeling that they would have gotten it done. They probably only need to drive 40-45 yards to get into range for Ben Sauls. And in that situation, maybe Holstein focuses on chipping away rather than trying for home runs. And we've seen a few game-winning drives already this season.

What do you think: do they get it done again in that scenario?
