Nothing big, but it sounds like Pitt has received over 400 applications, including 40-50 current AD's. AD experience seems to be the main prerequisite. Not sure how many applications fit that mold and are legit, but it does sound like there is a lot of interest.
Guys like Billy Knight and Tom Richards are not going to be considered. Has to have that experience. Probably going to be an assistant AD from a big-time school, or a current AD from a smaller school. Although Dixon and Narduzzi are not on the panel, both will have a significant voice in it. The panel is set and will be instrumental, but Gallagher will be the point man.
