No snarky answers wanted. Does Max
Amaduson actually exist? 2nd year player at 6’10” and he never got off the bench, even in mop up time. Is he still on the team, hurt or what?

He's on the team but only 1 out of 10 of those 300ish ranked big guys work out. We've had our fair share of lowly rates bigs (Brown, Kene, Nix, Haughton, Randall, Peace, etc)

He really isnt mid-major level. He'll probably transfer to an NEC school or D2

How bad must him, Payton, and Oladapo be to not get minutes on this team. This isn’t exactly a murderer’s row of players ahead of them.

Max played during mop up time vs ND last Saturday. I know because for some reason I watched it all the way until the end. Think he may have even grabbed a rebound!

Oladapo I'm not sure because he was a starter in the Horizon. I thought he was ok. Payton and Max are NEC or PSAC players.

So I would say that Max, Payton and Olidapo should be prime candidates to move on.

Quite honestly, beyond the starters, who else was there to give Pitt a chance to have 5 P6 players on the floor at the same time this season? Honestly, even all of the starters aren’t necessarily “high level” P6 quality talents.

And if all 5 of them weren’t at the top of their games in all aspects (scoring, rebounding, ball-handling, effort on D (like they were, for ex. at UNC) then the results became pretty predictable.

That;s just not acceptable for an ACC program. Since the HC is 100% responsible for the roster he has, HCJC has only to look in the mirror for the reason for the extremely undermanned roster. Have to think he has - at the very most - 1 more year to make a quantum leap record-wise. Of course, someone else may still be in charge next season, too. We’ll see. . . . . . .
