Looking at the trajectory of our offense and defense since the UCF game points in two different directions. The Defense has played better each week, even while missing some key players here and there. The offense seems to have regressed and has become more turn over prone.
As the season has unfolded it’s become obvious that the personality of this team is to play conservative offense and rely on the defense, and it’s also obvious that this is affecting the play of the offense . Being aggressive and taking shots down the field Has to be part of your DNA and once you become more conservative it’s hard to turn that switch back on, as it seems this offense is starting to play down to the expectations the staff has for it .
Let’s hope we can start opening up the bit more because next Thursday because we’ll certainly need contributions from the offense if we’re going to beat UNC.
