You usually dont see kids stay and improve anymore but the twins, Jeffress, and Fede are the type of players who can make massive improvements over a year or 2. Those guys + Hinson, a healed Hugley, plus the recruiting class and Dior and its a very very attractive team for a transfer or 2.

PG - Dior
SG - transfer
SF - Hinson (in the Sam Young "playing down" role)
PF - Hugley
C - Fede or transfer

Jeffress, the twins, and the freshmen off the bench. That can be a good team if everyone buys in.

Carrington is going to play a lot. He killed it again today with lethal shooting and is doing it game after game, event after event. There is a legit chance he starts unless we get some serious talent in the portal.

Also, yes, I'd try Hugley as the 4 so Fede can guard the 5 and I would try to take advantage of matchup problems with a 4 trying to guard Hugley. Lets not pretend like the ACC has super-skilled 4's. I'd also throw some zone in there.

Your WKU prediction for Dior is the worst ever on this board. Why didnt he go there out of HS? Why does Pitt has 3 Top 100ish recruits signed for 2023 and WKU has 0? Why didn't Pitt's recruits sign with WKU? Why is WKU sitting at 3-4 in CUSA despite having the best players NIL can buy? They only have a better record than 2 of the other 10 teams.

Dior may not be at Pitt next year. But he's MUCH more likely to be at Pitt than Western Kentucky. I'd say his chances of being at Pitt are 25%-50%. Western Kentucky: 0% but only because you cant have a negative percentage

If he plays college basketball next season, it will be at Pitt unless they kick him off. He's not transferring to WKU and no other P6 will take him at this point. You said yourself, Pitt was his only P6 option and his stock hasnt exactly gone up since.

And it was a stupid example. He could have gone to a mid-major out of HS if he wanted to. Would WKU or Missouri State or Texas State have turned him down? And if so, why would they suddenly be interested after his arrest and playing 0 games?
