Last year he was called upon at the last minute to start a game on the road against WMU… For those with short memories the results were:

9-12 for 179 yards and a TD with no interceptions. He showed poise in his first start

He threw a couple of nice deep balls as well.

He’s not somebody else’s transfer who couldn’t hack it at his original school…

I don’t give a damn how one QB looked in practice (we talkin’ practice) over another…

The kid responded well. Besides if Veilleux was all that, he wouldn’t be here…

Play him at home and see how he does.

This is looking like one of those seasons where we will see 3 different starting QBs, similar to the year with Max Browne, DiNucci and Pickett. I’m have no doubt Yarnell will get some chances.
