I guess I'd always assumed that the ACC already had it if we had a team. Where did we play before?

Pitt was in the East Atlantic Gymnastic League. Other schools in the league were Temple, George Washington, LIU, Towson, New Hampshire, North Carolina and North Carolina State.

East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) as did UNC and NC State.

Surprised you are allowed to have a league with only 4 teams. I guess Clemson added a team. That makes 2 women's team they recently added with softball. How did Clemson not have softball???

I wonder if it’s Conference by Conference? I remember the Big Ten waiting until they had 6 to sponsor men’s hockey.

I think Clemson added softball a few years ago. Adding lacrosse now.

Yeah they only require 4 teams for a conf championship
