Currently all ACC teams equally share revenue. Total TV Revenue / 14 teams = Per Team Distribution.

There are 2 types of ACC Football Games:
1. ACC vs ACC
2. ACC vs Out of Conference Opponent.

I can see all ACC vs. ACC games getting split evenly.

But all ACC vs OOC Opponent games are not created equally. For example Pitt-WVU and Pitt-Tennessee are much more valuable than Pitt-Western Michigan and Pitt-Rhode Island.

What if the ACC distributed all ACC vs ACC money as an equal split, but gave ACC vs OOC money directly to the team involved. Pitt would earn more for playing more marquis games. They would receive more than Wake Forest playing VMI, Liberty, Vanderbilt and Army. Teams that play higher profile TV games should be rewarded and get more of a share.

This would reward teams playing higher profile opponents and incentivize teams to strengthen there OOC games.

This would carry over to bowl games and CFB playoffs also. If you earn your way to the ACC Championship game, you should get all of that money, same for bowl and CFP.

Rather than each team sharing $36.1M, some would make more and others less.

Would this be enough to keep Clemson, FSU and UM happy?
