Just a thought and I 'm sure many will disagree and probably say I'm crazy or a homer or whatever. But realistically we have a better chance in the tournament as a # 8 seed than if we had finished in the top 7. We have a 4-2 record against the teams left in our side of the bracket (yes we got slaughtered by both Carolina teams) but i'll take that over the record we have against the 6 teams on the other side of the brackets. if you take out the VT and GT games as we broke even with them we are 1-3 against the 4 remaining teams(3-5 overall). Win today better chance of upset against Carolina ( who has lost and struggled against Duke and ND) then Miami or Virginia, It all starts at noon. Hope we win.

let's just focus on CUSE for now

I get what you're saying, and I admit I'm about to write a really snide comment. But why should we focus on Cuse? Not one single poster on this board will be playing in the game. We have no control over the outcome.

I see "Let's focus on this week" posted all the time, and I just find it really odd since we aren't players.

I get what you're saying and in a way I completely agree.

The reason I said "let's just focus on CUSE" is because, at least for me, when you look ahead at maybe winning an ACC tournament (which is very unlikely) I just feel like if you have that mentality and they end up losing today, that would just make your confidence go down, and your frustration go up with this team. Just the way I see it.

Oh, yeah, that's definitely a separate issue and I get that 100%. I'm more referring to fans who talk about taking it one week at a time in the sense that you shouldn't "overlook an opponent" or "be overconfident."
