It's a first place finish even though it was a 3 way tie for first. The 2010 team got rings that say "Big East Champions" because they finished in first place. He didn’t even recruit better than our peers in the big east - even after it was diluted down.

You don't make the tie-breaker rules, the conference does. That's why Pitt has the title of co-champion. That also doesn't explain why you were wrong about the 2008 when they won the tiebreaker against WVU, thus getting 2nd place.

I don't care what point you want to make if the facts you use to bolster that claim are false.

Hell- even Narduzzi actually won a conference outright
