Well if that's the way that you look at it, then a serious question for you. Why do you give a rat's arse what anyone on here posts? Why do you care if someone is the nicest, most polite person in the world or if someone is more confrontational in their posts? After all, you aren't their friend. You don't know them. So why do you care what they have to say when they post?

I guess this gets to the heart of the matter. It's an anonymous message board. Why do you let any of this bother you? Why do you care if Poster A thinks that Poster B is dumber than a box of rocks and Poster B thinks Poster A is a meanie who always picks on them if you don't know either one and don't care about either one?

Because some people love to believe they are victims.

We aren't friends, I don't know you. And people I don't know don't talk to me like a few people on this site do. And I believe whole heartedly the same people that insult people on this site wouldn't do it in person.

I typically don't associate with people of low character in real life, so it is hard to say what I would do.

Honest question, do you find Pokers repetitive all caps posting endearing and informative, or more annoying? I would say most of the board would answer annoying. By definition, what he does is against board rules. So if you find it intelligent and useful, what about it do you like? If you find it annoying, why would you be surprised people get annoyed by annoying things? He is 41, not a helpless 5 year old, but the behavior is really indistinguishable. I don't see how you think that wouldn't draw attention.

Del - you seem like a smart guy and I enjoy reading most of your viewpoints. I do not find you over-the-top negative like some on here, more so spot-on realistic and honest. There are many miserable bullies on this site that contribute next to nothing other than an agenda or would be better suited living about 200 miles to the east. They'd fit in perfectly.

That's what some of these guys don't understand. If you post something that I think is dumb and I tell you that your post was dumb that isn't an attack on your person, it's an attack on your opinion.

Totally with you on this one Joe. I'll do the same thing at times, but I won't make things personal over a difference in opinion. Likewise, you've probably thought some of my posts were beyond stupid, and I don't take it personal at all. Sometimes I don't even understand why some take things so personally here.

Admittedly, my OP was of a trolling tone, so I take my share of responsibility for the crapshow this thread devolved into.

That said, for those who still believe that Jamie can reverse the downward trend of the program, what exactly are you seeing? I see average at best level recruits with little understanding of basketball fundamentals and below average mental toughness. In my view, MUCH of that is the coaching staff's responsibility.

Just curious how long would you give the next coach to bring the program back to an ncaa tournament team that is expected to go farther than the first weekend? If it is two to five years, will you be more tolerant of games like yesterday?
