Just turned it on and Pud U up by 20. Since I didn't watch it, curious what others observed. This could be a very hard game for us.

Likewise I only saw the last few minutes when they stretched their lead from about a dozen to 20. Based on that little window, I think Purdue's size bothered Florida and they had tired legs at the end. I think we will have less trouble than Florida based on our half vs Gonzaga and our overall size and depth.

It was fairly close most of the game until Purdue pulled away at the end.

Purdue's frontcourt is supposed to be among the best in CBB, and they were good today. But it was their guard play that carried them through most of the game. P.J. Thompson was very good off the bench.

Proud papa of a Pitt Freshman, but I plan to be at the game on Tuesday rooting for my beloved Boilermakers (not looking forward to the drive from/to Indy). This will likely be Purdue's toughest challenge of the pre-conference season as they face a good team on the road in the Big10/ACC challenege. I have confidence PU will win the game though based on their play to date and a hefty dose of long overdue optimism. There is something different about this Purdue team, but in summary it is that every single position is better than last year. Team chemistry is very good, the bench is deep, and it looks like everyone is on the same page as Coach Painter. Regardless of what happens at Pitt, this should be a very good year for the Boilers. Good luck Panthers (but not too much)!
