Bored with NIL. And all of this crap. So I have decided to correlate the amount of rain we are getting this month with our all time Aprils and how it affected Pitt football. See chart below.
1967. 7.42" Record: 1-9. Verdict? This is decidedly not good.
1936 7.40" Record: 8-1-1 Rose Bowl Win. Some Natty Titles. Verdict. .02", it is a fine line between success and failure.
1945: 7.16" Record: 3-7. Verdict: Not so good.
1956: 7.12" Record: 7-3-1 Gator Bowl loss #7 AP Verdict: Better than most.
1942: 7.03" Record: 3-6 Verdict: I see a pattern here emerging.
1980: 6.85" Record: 11-1 Gator Bowl win, #2 Overall. Verdict: Great team, all time great.
2007: 6.84" Record 5-7 Verdict: If we had a friggin QB!! Plus 13-9
1933: 6.84" Record: 8-1 Verdict: Hmmmm 8-1 and unranked??
1994: 6.82" Record: 3-8: Verdict: The dark ages......
Results? The amount of rain in April has no real impact on Pitt football.
