Are we a lock...

Yea, almost certainly

19 win ACC teams are the types of teams that make the NIT nowadays. What is gone are the 15-13 teams who make the field, its too tough now with the smaller conference regular season champions taking bids. For some recent history, last season 13 bids went to teams from small leagues who lost their conference tournaments, so the next 19 teams out of the field made the NIT. I think even losing the next 2 we'd be in.

What is in doubt now is a home game in the NIT, we probably need at least one more win to guarantee a home game.

I'd say we're almost a lock for the NIT even if we lose our next 2 but we'd probably fall from a 1 or 2 seed (if we barely missed the NCAAT) to a 5 or 6 seed and not get a home game. I don't know how much that matters but if Pitt wants at least one home game, they probably need to win the next 2.

I don't think we're a lock at all. It appears that this team has hit the wall. Don't know if we'll win another game this year! Hope I'm wrong!
