Watching Gameday and the ESPN analysts all have us in, they have agreed on the 8 teams slugging it out for the last 4 spots amd we aren't one of them. Nonetheless, for safety's sake I really hope Purdue beats Michigan today. We have 1 RPI top 50 win, if Michigan wins today they will have 5 and will have beaten a team that beat us soundly-and at time of the season when wins and losses matter the most.

Again, that should only impact the other teams fighting for the last 4 spots and according to just about everyone right now we aren't one of those, but we're Pitt-we have been burned before.

It is getting frustrating watching all the people that want to say pitt is really close to missing using the wrong info over and over to justify their opinion.

Yep-my bad-1 RPI top 25 win was what I meant to say, Mich has 3 a,d Pirdue would be 4. Even oh it's looking like it wouldn't impact us I'm rooting hard for Purdue today.

You also declared that Pitt would lose its last 8 games....all of them. Predictions are generally worthless....not just yours.

To be fair, he didn't say Pitt would lose it's last 8 games. It was 7 games, because there was no way Pitt was going to win a game in the ACC tournament.

So over a time frame when Poker said Pitt was going to go 0-7 they actually went 4-4 (or 4-3 if you only consider the 7 games he actually made a prediction for). Pretty close, right?
