Army Football

the QB was 1 for 2 and they threw a pick on a silly trick play. Ironically they saved their game by intercepting SDSU when they were down 7

Do teams suffer more injuries playing them than others Don’t know just axin’
Opposing players and coaches have been complaining about it since dating back to the 49ers of 1980s using that blocking technique. I don't think one Pitt player has been hurt by cut blocking since joining the ACC or versus Navy in 2007, '08, '09 and '15.

Also, I can't remember a Steeler getting hurt facing the Broncos when their linemen were cut blocking under Shanahan.

Quick passing teams cut block almost as much as option teams. I'd like to see some stats on it.

Great season for Army, love watching their offense

Hail to the Army Team

I wish Pitt played them or Navy yearly

Wouldn't mind now and then but no way yearly as we already suffer with
ga tech. Army also counts as a P5 game for acc. Doubt we'll ever see navy now that they are in a conference plus army, air force, nd.

Do teams suffer more injuries playing them than others ...
Don’t know just axin’

I hear ND fans cry about this and because it happened once. I played at Air Force and throwing a cut block on anyone other than a lineman is so hard to do. It's great for blocking someone that you'll never be able to manhandle. That's why the academies run the option. I don't ever remember a cut block hurting someone unless it was an illegal block from the side or the defender was already engaged (which is illegal too).
