The only way that the NCAA reduces scholarships is if TV ratings start to fall due to the non-competitive nature of these games. If people don't watch ND getting hammered (again) or Alabama blowing out another over-matched opponent then MAYBE they'll reduce the number of scholarships in an attempt to create a bit more competitive balance. Frankly, I don't think it will work anyway....Alabama will have 70 4 and 5 star guys instead of 85. So what? Maybe the NCAA can just require Alabama to play Clemson the first game of the season and the winner is declared the national champ. Save us all some time.

Its funny, college football is my favorite sport but I know every season my team has no hope of winning anything after week 3 or week 4. go figure.
