Throws a better ball than Jurkovec, takes a while to let it go, not as quick and mobile as I hoped.

No chance on first interception, rusher unblocked. Missed the second interception on my way out.

usure whose fault the fumble was. It was a bad call anyway. Did we decide to have the QB kkeep it on every first play of a series. Worked first two times, then not so much.

I personally didn’t think he did anything to move the needle other than throw a tighter spiral

I completely understand why he wasn’t thrown in last week

The worst possible situation (other than Jurk playing the entire game; he should be done and gone) … was that Veilleux got no starter reps in practice during the week, then had to be thrown out there cold … now have to make his first start (we hope) on the road in a night game in a normally hostile place not so much this season perhaps ).

Even when the right thing happens for this team (Jurk comes out of the game), it comes with a sh1t-covered asterisk…

Agree. Not the best situation to enter. Hard to get a true evaluation under the circumstances.

I’d agree, hard to really make any true evaluation under yesterday’s circumstances. I don’t think what we saw yesterday indicates that CV is definitely worse than PJ as some have indicated herein. I think all yesterday showed was that there likely isn’t any appreciable immediate upgrade with him in the game but who knows what he might provide once he got some more game experience under his belt.

This was like Pickett coming in last year. A bad offense with a bad scheme made it tough for him at first. Veilleux absolutely has a better arm and I want to see if he can be the QB moving forward.
