Makes sense. Guys like Bacot and Drew Timme would’ve been lottery picks 20 years ago. Undrafted now.NIL money must be good. Another example of a player who is worth more in college than the NBA.

Would love to see it! Good call on Tshiebwe, he fits that mold as well.I would guess Tshiebwe is back also. Cal, Oscar, Thiero, Antigua HC in Pgh for ACC/SEC Challenge?
Timme is a more complete player than Bacot.Makes sense. Guys like Bacot and Drew Timme would’ve been lottery picks 20 years ago. Undrafted now.

If he was any good, he would have left for the NBA 3 years ago.Yeah I don’t think he’s all that great, at least not NBA great. He’s probably getting as much or more than he would as a D League player. Not sure that he is much more than that or a 3rd center on an NBA team
every year I think he has to get better looking but he disappoints me every time...NIL money must be good. Another example of a player who is worth more in college than the NBA.
I think you’re selling Bacot short. He has multiple attributes that translate to the NBA. He’s an excellent rebounder, great passer and court vision, can dribble and make plays off the bounce, and is a big that can guard the perimeter.Bacot would have been a decent NBA player in 1979. He is a huge defensive liability in the modern game though. I don't see him as a guy who would stay on a roster at all. If he's getting paid anything at UNC, which I assume he is, it's a good decision.
He’d be in the NBA if he could do this things against players if similar size.I think you’re selling Bacot short. He has multiple attributes that translate to the NBA. He cannot guard the perimeter, I think that's where our disagreement lies. Go back and watch Nelly's three straight three pointers against UNC when Bacot wouldn't fight over Fede's screen.elling Bacot short. He has multiple attributes that translate to the NBA. Will do! In my mind I’m picturing this as a Bacot strength, I might be mistaken. He cannot guard the perimeter, I think that's where our disagreement lies. Go back and watch Nelly's three straight three pointers against UNC when Bacot wouldn't fight over Fede's screen.
He's a good bully. Cool for college but not enough skill or athlete that the pros look for, especially if you can't shootWill do! In my mind I’m picturing this as a Bacot strength, I might be mistaken.
Disagree. Bacot is too slow and doesn't move well on D to guard in the NBA. HE doesn't handle the ball well either. I believe he had 5 turnovers and Fede frustrated the hell out of him in our last game. If he ever makes a roster he will not last long.I think you’re selling Bacot short. I think Oscar can't earn NIL because of his visa. Was that resolved?Would love to see it! Good call on Tshiebwe, he fits that mold as well.
I guess that he would rather play basketball in North Carolina than in Europe.
I am referring to culture - N. Carolina vs Europe.Yea, why not? UNC pays more or similar.
