Tough for those people for sure. Luckily we don't have such a problem here in Pittsburgh.

If by Pittsburgh you mean the city, I guess. But there are definitely portions of Allegheny County that do not have a legit ISP other than Comcast. Where I live (Plum) I have Comcast, and the only other "option" is apparently Windstream, whose introductory prices are somehow more expensive and slower than my non intro Comcast rates. Some choice.

It’s by far the best internet I’ve had in my life -
Especially With all 3 of us working/schooling from home .
I did upgrade our WiFi router - very little regrets

That's ridiculous. Had no idea that people within the metro don't have access to Fios.

My Mom lives in Washington, Pa, and can’t get Fios.
