Stayed home today with sick kid. Why couldn't it have been tomorrow instead? Of course, if I saw the game, perhaps I'd be the sick one.

I have a board meeting tomorrow at friggin' noon. Time-shifting it and will strangle anyone who gives me an up date. Almost punched the broad who told me about the 2009 Nova game as we exited my daughter's final H.S. performance. Couldn't scream with all those folks in the lobby.

yep I have a client meeting at 2. I'll watch first half before heading out so I will likely listen to most of second half on radio. Hopefully I can go home and rewatch a win. H2P.

I am looking for a magic pill that will wipe me out between 12 and 2 pm

As soon as the seeds were settled I blocked off 11:30 to 3:00 on my work calendar. I'm sliding out of the office like I'm going for an early lunch, then I'll walk to the Verizon Center. I bought the cheapest available ticket because I doubt I'll be able to sit, too nervous.

I think my kids are still traumatized from watching that game with me. Screw Scottie Reynolds and all of those pompous Nova fans I have to deal with every day!

Have to say it.....on vacation in Punta Cana. We're an hour ahead here. Will have breakfast, dip in pool, maybe a beach trip, and then back to the room and ESPN. Go Panthers!

Don't get a sunburn. If you have trouble with the feed, I can text you updates.

Kismet....but as you say you may have been saved some pain
yeah, it is what it is. I felt bad cuz I had a ton of work to do. I hate to plop her in front of the TV all day, but she needed rest, and I needed to work. Oh well, got my fill of Elmo all day. I wonder if he can play the 2?

Hey, we've all been through it-I watched more tractor pull contests on ESPN at dawn on Saturday monoings than any man should have to endure.

Lol...that made me laugh. When my daughter was an infant, she didn't want to be rocked, she wanted to be carried up and down the stairs. I lost about 10 pounds the first 3 months of her life doing stair master every night.

Get in shape for the first time you take her to Disney World, every parent's version of the pentathalon. I can still hear my son with Dumbo whirling behind me: "hold me, daddy, " I heard this refrain for 15 consecutive hours!

Just did it in December. She got mad at the camel on dumbo for spitting water on us, asked me to punch it on the way out, so I did. :) best vacation of my life though. Waited 80 minutes to see Cinderella, and just to see her expression made it worth it. My daughter asked Cinderella if she gave her step sisters a time out, and made Cinderella show her both feet to prove she had both shoes back. It was hilarious. Was carrying her on average like 8 hours a day, luckily, she weighs like 28 pounds still.

I had all day meeting during Pitt/Pacific. I Tivo'd it (ah, remember Tivo's run?), didnt find out the score and watched it later. Usually I'm able to take vacation time or a long lunch to watch these games but I'll be there in person tomorrow.

Karaoke night at the hotel tonight. Someone sang Sweet Caroline. The fam and I got our let's go Pitt chants in!
