If TJ Banks decides on Pitt, they'll probably still take him. We don't really have that many TEs yet. We took 3 in 2017, but my guess is that one of them will move to OT, ala O'Neill. And while the Symonds kid is listed as a TE, he is being brought in to play the Aston H-back role.
So that means Pitt will only have 3 or 4 TEs on the roster going into the future, which is still thin at the position. So, they won't turn away a good one that wants to commit.
