I'm wondering if the offense doesn't look better here in the second half of the season if Beatty is potentially the new OC next year.

He's been a Co-OC twice (Illinois 2012 and and Maryland 2017-2018).

With his recruiting I would definitely be willing to give him a shot.

Does anyone know what kind of offense he Co-OC'd at Maryland? Scheme-wise and if they were any good?

No - He is a good position coach and recruiter.

Illinois was 2-10 and their offense stunk.
