Still making excuses. Julian would only have needed 2 points to make that another loss instead of the enjoyable win. The reality is that this is the 4th year of bad hoops. The supposed great recruiter has had a few good hits, but best are gone, and the coaching has been dreadful.

So Nike and or Horton would’ve needed 2 pts for wins over Virginia and Minn . You can’t have it both ways !

I don’t expect Top 10 or Top 25 regularly but if we’re focusing on Top 200!!! we should’ve never hired Capel. And Capel himself spent waaaaaaay too much time and resources on top kids if that’s the case.

This. Why would we hire a guy known for recruiting, not actually being good at coaching if we expected bottom level ACC classes of guys ranked 150-200? If you're going to have your program built on the Karim Coulibaly's and Noah Collier's, you better be a darn good "system coach."

The bigger unanswered question is why the last 3 HC‘s at Pitt have struggled in recruiting HS talent ?
