Or throw a fit.
This is going to be the craziest year in ACC ball.
Any team can and many will beat many teams all year.
It's volatile.
Having said that im disappointed in the pattern of our guards.
But prepare ourselves for a weird year.

UNC started 0 for 15 at home against GT and tried to come back with Brooks scoring 35 they are sure to have a better start in their next game. Pitt will have to play two bigs I would think

GT has Alvarado back so they are now a much better team

It’s basically that way all over the country this year. One of the first years I remember where 15-20 teams have a legitimate chance.

Well, a loss is a loss, but what of the team's seemingly repeated struggle to execute situational offense, including reversing a dry spell ? Are there well designed plays that are being drilled over and over for desired outcomes? If so why do the players seem to be totally ignoring this type of training?

yep, from what I've seen so far, the ACC is weakest in a while (ie. stinks).
It helps, but I can see why blowing a 16 point lead at home to Wake has folks concerned.

We are seeing some of that parity right now as SMF’s buddy Lorenzo Romar has Pepperdine in position to maybe pull a massive shocker at Gonzaga.

At the end of a close game all plays seem to go out the window.
I don't like this strategy.
Because 1 & 2 are much too selfish.

Sometimes you can learn it but most times you're born with it and that's being Cool Under Pressure. Both Trey and X were put into a position out of necessity to force up shots last year in order for us to win a game but there maturity level right now is in question because they haven't learned or understood what it means to be Cool Under Pressure where your heart rate slows down instead of speeding up. Our season depends on one or both of these players maturing and hoping the light bulb coming on to understanding what that statement means and embracing it. IMHO

Totally agree! Sometimes it looks like bad street ball.

While we are hand wringing--we might as well throw in the fact that it was another noon-start game. We are building a rep of playing poorly in games that start at noon.

I don't think you can logically blame that loss on a noon start when we came out and took a 22-6 lead right from the start. I mean are we really arguing that we are a really good team from 12:00 to 12:30, but then from 12:30 to 2:00 it's too early for us to play well?

Don’t you know anything , It’s nap time at 12:30 !

I was actually being somewhat to mostly sarcastic--given previous discussions about noon starts that have been had on this board. Should have employed some emoticons!

I predict we go into Chapel Hill and come out with a W after being down by 9 at half.
