Bell extended

Because kids want to play in his offense ...and because Frank Cignetti happened.

I hope that's true, but I'm not seeing any big recruiting yields to back it up.

I agree that following Cignetti is a pretty handsome feather in his cap. The old, "well you should have seen the last guy!" benefit certainly made Heather Lyke a beloved character for a while.

The offense finished 66 last year according to F+.

That was a big improvement from 111 the year before. But that much better than what the average replacement level OC would have done?
I think FCJ just sit the bar really low with the ‘23 season.

But even the ‘22 offense finished 57. And that wasn’t exactly a master class of offensive play calling and talent.

This feels like Narduzzi bidding against himself.

2022 had a decent offensive line. We had nothing last year.

He learned that from Heather “dunce” Lyke.

By he - you mean the new AD?
No the FB program king, Narduzzi, the beneficiary of Lyke’s stupidity. The fact that the AD approved this contract, which I am sure was recommended by Narduzzi( my guess is that it’s only for a term now of 2 years), shows what Greene’s view is on Narduzzi’s likely tenure…at least w
2 more years of this mediocre bumpkin.
