Especially considering the climate of today.Forgot about PCU, very strong choice.

The Program deserves some recognition here. Some ridiculous scenes but the creators did a good job giving ESU uniforms that synced with the early 90s in college football.
Animal House may be the best movie ever made, so it's the obvious winner in this category.
1st. Animal HouseRevenge of the Nerds
Animal House
Higher Learning
Old School
The Graduate
Dead Man on Campus
Necessary Roughness
any more ?
PCUBack to School immediately comes to mind
Yes. Goose from top gun was the male lead in this. Snuck into East Germany.Anyone remember watching this movie on HBO?

Probably not exactly what you’re looking for, but Real Genius was a good college movie as well.
Also recommend the Blue Mountain State series as well.
That’s right. Good memory. I didn’t look at picture in post I responded to. I would have known if I’d looked closer at pic.your thinking of gotcha
Real Genius was on the other day and it still holds up! Back to School is still great and sadly the last good movie Rodney made."Real Genius" was the most CMU-like movie I've ever seen. Way too real. Watching it or "Silicon Valley" on HBO gives me PTSD.
I don't know if there's any movie in the world that holds up worse than "Revenge Of The Nerds", like half of the pranks would get you registered as a sex offender in today's world. And rightfully so, it's probably the rapiest movie ever released. It's still hilarious, but yeesh.
I echo the picks elsewhere though, "Animal House", "Old School", and "Back To School" are all awesome. "The Social Network" sort of counts.
It starts and ends with those three.Dead Man on Campus was underrated.
Animal House, Back To School and Revenge of the Nerds always come to mind.
We could start a whole thread of favorite Animal House quotes.“Do you mind if we dance with your dates” ?
I’d take Glory Road over both.Rudy was better than Blue Chips.

Gotta throw Back to School in that group for the Mt Rushmore.Revenge of the Nerds and Animal House stand by themselves, they are Mt Rushmore choices for the genre.
The movie “College” is aptly named and worth a watch as well.
In what way was that a college movie outside of the fact they were all Michigan alums 10 years out of college? The Big Chill was good.
Come on brah. You gotta be better than that.Hoosiers
That’s a strong statement that I happen to agree with.Animal House may be the best movie ever made, so it's the obvious winner in this category.
So was the Sting...also not a college movie...The Big Chill was good.
I forgot that one. Great movie. John Wayne and Donna Reed. Sort of reminds you of the plight of Pitt football for the past four decades. The coach knows what it takes to win and the college administration will only ply by the rules while their competition is beating their brains out and laughing all the way to the bank.Trouble Along the Way!! Timeless masterpiece of college football with John Wayne as the head coach!!! I think there is a reference to University Of Pittsburgh as well!!! Must watch for a college football fan!!!
