Better off w/o PSU?

This is a thought I've had. Might we be better off if the PSU series was not renewed? I always thought that the teams should play every year but sometimes I wonder. So many of their fans claim they don't want to play us since they think they are a national elite program. if we're being honest, maybe we have built the game up too much. A generation of Pitt students knew WVU as their primary rival. I almost rather see that series renewed.

No doubt about it. Its been a huge negative. Actually, our records vs PSU, WVU and ND since WWII are horrifying. Its time for a change.......a massive change in philosophy. Our only purpose has been to prop up others. I've had enough.

Recruits would love that. It would provide a game day experience like no other. Student section in left field going nuts. Place wouldnt need to be tarped off. There isnt 1 downside to it.
