Pickett hopefully is back with a new OC.Do they have any faith in this guy? He was put in for a series and then Patti came out of nowhere? If Yellen and Beville are the answers next year then we have issues. The chance for playing time could entice a quality grad transfer
Yellen just doesn’t have the legs to scramble for a first down
Yellen has absolutely nothing...can’t throw, can’t run, no intangibles. Why is he on a P5 roster?Yellen just doesn’t have the legs to scramble for a first down
It took until late in the 3rd quarter today for our staff to realize he gave us absolutely no chance to move the football through the air. So asking that same staff to evaluate his skills in the transfer recruiting process is probably a bit much. This staff is clueless, that’s all there is to it.Yellen has absolutely nothing...can’t throw, can’t run, no intangibles. Why is he on a P5 roster?
Yep. I was really lukewarm on Yellen. Just had to see how he looked. Way too immobile for this dysfunctional of an offense, scattershot and mediocre arm. This staff is completely oblivious. Beville has way more upside than Yellen, ridiculous he doesn’t get at least the same opportunities.
Not really upset about seeing Patti though, just anyone but Yellen from here on out my god.
I was hopeful for Yellen also, thought he and Beville could be 2 good QBs battling for the job. Everyone was so excited about Yellen last week though, completely ignoring so many things he was doing poorly. It was obvious a disaster was coming sooner than later. I was encouraged again when I saw him make 2 really nice throws to start the game today and was ready to be wrong, but he quickly went back to misfires and poor decisions.Yep. Nothing to lose giving Beville a run. He can run a bit, both to buy time and to pu yards. Has a good arm. He has a chance to be a good qb.
Do you think that redshirt rules play in here?I was hopeful for Yellen also, thought he and Beville could be 2 good QBs battling for the job. It literally makes no sense to leave him in as long as they did and then give Beville 1 series. I mean hell a 3 and out because of a dropped pass on a ball that he did underthrow was way better than Yellen throwing another INT. I’m just not gonna believe that Beville is so bad that he’s not even an option when this staff continued to let Yellen make things even worse today.
You need to be really, really good at a lot of other things if you are as immobile as Yellen is. He just flat out isn’t... at anything. I’m seriously skeptical now of my initial claim that he’ll be a good career backup QB in college.
I don’t understand what you’re asking, this is essentially a free year for every player in the country.Do you think that redshirt rules play in here?
When your on the bench watching a guy of lesser talent being treated like hes a proven starter on a cold day I'm sure you'd be stiff tooI like Beville but god was he stiff. That’s why Patti looked good. He wasn’t afraid
