Pitt aims to boost undergraduate enrollment at Pitt by 2,000, or from about 20,000 to 22,000, over the next five years. They also plan to add around 1,500 additional graduate students, many of whom would be online or hybrid, to push the overall student enrollment to about 32,000 (or fifth in the ACC behind Georgia Tech, Florida State, Virginia Tech, and NC State). The university is also planning to launch a new capital campaign next spring, the first in a decade.
