This was set up like an all-star meet and held at Purdue. Interesting concept. I don't know of other conferences that have done this.
Razor thin win for B10 on men's side 179-174.
But the B10 shellacked the ACC women 251-102.
Pitt's Samy Helmbacher won the 400-yard individual medley at the event and currently hold's the fastest time in the nation.
Pitt's men are currently ranked 25th nationally in the CSCAA coaches poll (one of 7 top 25 ACC teams with 3 others just outside) and 20th in College Swimming's dual meet ranking. Pitt's women are currently 36th in College Swimming's dual meet ranking.
This is the 4th sport with a challenge between the ACC & Big 10 after men's basketball, women's basketball, and softball.
