In college once your knee id down your down. Penalty was deserved. Hell, even in the pros if the QB was hit like that they would flag it.

uh, might be time for Bill Gates to unleash that digital sarcasameter he has been working on...

Sarcasm doesn’t come across well in text. That’s why we have different colors for it.

That said, based on the egregious nature of the hit shame on me for not recognizing that you weren’t serious.

Only excuse would be a momentary lapse of reason and he thought he had been magically transported from the MAC onto the NFL. Even then it's a pretty terrible hit. Lucky he didn't make better helmet to helmet contact.

hey, if I string together the wrong sequence of colors and I'll have dudes asking me out (not that there's anything wrong with that)...no thanks.

Refs are afraid to call anything nor are they sure what is a foul or what isn't anymore. That truly was a personal foul and should have been given da boot!

You do know that the play is over in college when a player stumbles down and is sitting there on his knees, don’t you?
I just learned of this earlier in this thread...fascinating. Next thing will be you telling me something crazy like a receiver in college only needs one foot in bounds on a sideline catch...

by the way, you do know the phrase "tongue in cheek", don't you?

I feel like there really isn't any level where that wouldn't be blown dead. Trying to imagine someone doing that to Tom Brady and living to tell about it.
In pro football the runner is not down so maybe it doesn’t get called, except the player is actually defenseless. So you just have to touch him.
