Bowl Game opt outs

UCLA entire team will be in Mexico on a cocaine run. That’s why they haven’t opted out. They want to take the free plane ride and then do what they have to do. Seriously, many members of their team won’t be into the game even if they are dressed and scheduled to participate. It’s a meaningless bowl game like all of the other bowl games.

Now let’s win that ladies volleyball semifinal !!!
Are you kidding? No need to go to Mexico. The Mexicans come to LA for their Coke.

Okay thanks, I didn’t realize that. He’s a RS Junior and it is a little surprising that he would turn pro early, but good for him I guess.
someone on here said that he is hearing from his agent that he'll be an early round pick. some say that may be misleading but he's listening to him.

He may be like Damarri Mathis last year and blow up in testing. Narduzzi has said he might be the fastest player on the team. Based upon measurable and experience some team may jump on him early as a guy they can mold. He definitely made some splash plays but I thought he also looked lost in coverage at times as well.

Yeah, this will be the first year I don't even watch the game. I just picture UCLA's varsity or semi-varsity team celebrating a throttling of our 9th grade or JV team and it irks me. Like Michigan State fans flexing over beating our non-experienced 3rd string QB last year... GTFOOH. If somehow we win, I'll go back and watch it a few times. But I'm not putting myself through the frustration if I don't have to. These games have ran their course (for me, personally; not intending to sound like I'm speaking on anyone else's behalf).

I'm not sure why they're considered more meaningless than regular season games when a team is out of conference contention (I'm guessing it's because they're played so much later and guys would rather use that time to train for the draft or not risk injury if they're hitting the transfer market), but the players have spoken and they certainly are. And if they don't care, then I don't either. No big deal. Just is what it is.
I'm watching it, I don't bet on games, so this is the only game where I can sit and watch and CARE who wins, so why not. Nobody is opting out on the UCLA side? They have nobody that is good enough to care about staying healthy for the NFL draft?

And there are a whole lot more gamblers than there used to be with the advent of legalized online betting.
How do you even make a serious bet with teams having so many opt outs? The teams in the games have no track record.

I don't care about your stats. Pitt fans that I've known for the last 50 years....die hard Pitt fans, won't be watching it. Who knows how those stats were compiled. All I know is that of the Pitt fans I know, most (more than 90%) won't be watching the game. It's like any other exhibition game. But if you think it's worth watching our bench playing someone, go for it. Good luck to them and hope they don't get hurt.
This from the person who last year said he watched Dancing with the Stars instead of the CFP Championship game. You should preface your remarks by just say that your not much of a college football fan in the first place. Which makes it more confusing as to why you even bother posting on this board.

our non-experienced 2nd string QB...There, I fixed it for you.
3rd actually. Nick Patti got injured almost immediately leaving us with 3rd string for basically the entire game. I was there. It was frustrating and yes we still should have won it.
