It really isNavy would be on their home turf.
It would literally be a road game.
That's not acceptable for the season we had.

I'm not talking about bowl scenarios as a whole.Navy would be on their home turf.

Just like when I post about Pitt producing better Quality Players for the NFL and can back it up with Links and Facts!Pederson must have sucked at 'wheeling and dealing' unless he was under the impression Birmingham was a magical place.
I don't get the fuss over bowl destinations. We have the playoffs & Tier nobody gives a damn. Enjoy the extra game.
Not according to the way the rules are.It really is
Agree, better to play Navy that is 9-2 than any 5-7, 6-6, or 7-6 Teams! Just my opinion, not gospel!I'm not talking about bowl scenarios as a whole.
I'm talking about playing Navy (ranked no less) as compared to Indiana or Minnesota.
I did not know this, and I appreciate you sharing it on the Lair! I agree, Barnes is rolling some Dice doing this and it reflects weakness not strengths if Pitt ends up with 5-7 or 6-6 Team? Thank You For the Info! Not according to the way the rules are.
The only way Pitt can drop to a Tier 2 bowl is if Barnes agrees to it. Pitt MUST get a Tier 1 bowl (Pinstripe, Belk, Music City, or Sun) based on ACC standings.... according to ACC's agreements with the bowls.... unless PItt volunteers to accept a Tier 2 designation.
If we go to Annapolis or Detroit, that was all Barnes' doing.
Well, he did win 7 games against losing Programs except SDSU at Home! But when 5-7 Teams are needed to fill up Bowls, unfortunately there is no Toilet Bowl?St penn still shouldn't be going anywhere, disgusting.
How many attended the Fiesta Bowl? Were there many Pitt fans there?
I was there. Sat next to an older couple who did nothing but whine all night. If you remember Utah wanted more tickets than they got in their allotment and Pitt gave something like half of their allotment to Utah to sell because there was no chance at all that Pitt was going to sell them.
Anyone who was there knows there was a woeful turnout of Pitt fans that night.

Is that a prerequisite for being a Pitt fan?
