Capel can't recruit marginal players because he can't develop anyone. The only productive players we have right now have been productive right from their freshman/debut years.

Does anyone really believe Champagnie would be any worse if he were playing for a different team and coach?

Toney’s game has improved as had AKC and Hortons , if JC is no better than he was the day he came to Pitt he’d be wearing a Duke or Kentucky jersey. Too early on the the freshman to make a judgement.
X and Trey IMO are two kids who are uncoachable .
