I swear I’m literally the only one in my group that hasn’t run into OJ Simpson somewhere in Las Vegas, that streak ended tonight.

Was at a local bar/restaurant watching the games and heard an unmistakable booming voice from the adjoining room, and there he was.

Thought about going in and saying something, him and his older, very white group were hooting and hollering at something on the tv screen but I was extremely sober and decided against it.

A few people who noticed wandered in and took pictures with him and he was very accommodating, but it seemed creepy to me. After he and his group left I walked into the room and saw they had been watching some show with old USC football highlights.

When I worked on the Strip had many interactions with celebrities and it was never a big deal, but for whatever reason sitting by OJ Simpson was very odd.

My dad had some brief business interactions with him when he played for the Bills and said he was nice and professional. I believe it was early in his career, maybe even his rookie year.

I don’t even know what to think about him at this point, it’s almost (but not quite) like he never killed those people years ago. I know someone that golfs with him regularly, just can’t imagine myself doing that.

Lots of odd happenings in Vegas with washed up celebrities, Jose Canseco just opened a car wash here last week, friend drove by and said Canseco was shammying someone bumper while people took pictures.

My buddy has been out there for a few years. Don't think he's come across anyone too famous.

When I worked nights at Caesars i would see and deal with famous people all the time it seemed, since then it’s few and far between, usually in odd places.

A few years ago I bumped into Andre Agassi (literally) at Home Depot, Steffi Graf was right behind him pushing the buggy. Also was walking the dog at the park one night and was watching a guy talk to a group of Little Leaguers, started a conversation with him and it turned out to be Greg Maddux.

I bet your friend sees famous people frequently but doesn’t recognize them right away. There are so many NBA players that have homes in Las Vegas it’s impossible not to run into them. Many times I’ve been out with friends and they say there’s so and so, if someone hadn’t said something I would’ve never noticed them other than being tall.

Enjoy the good times while you can OJ.

Honestly, I think the XFL should hire him as a commentator. They dont have to do some of the crazy in-game stuff they did before but they do need to get some big names in there for people to watch. If OJ were an announcer, ratings would be unbelievable, as sad as that may seem. They also need Tebow and Kap. People will tune in for those dudes whether you like them or not.

Remember he was also an actor. He can play his role convincingly and hide his true persona to the public.
