than 14 minutes.

I know he was horrible on defense, but he is a threat on offense, rebounds the best of the three and is the best passer of the three.

We need to really shorten the bench even more. Kene and Milligan are killing us.

Brown 30. Peace 10.

It needs to be this way until Luther gets back. Aside from the occasional play as a result of trying hard, Kene provides absolutely nothing.

I've seen Kene fight his own teammates for rebounds at least 10 times this year. Even when he's staring them right in the eye. He did it again today. It's bizarre. Low IQ and low talent isn't a good mix, however, Peace is just a walking foul machine, so he has to play by default. Agreed they just need to roll with Brown as much as possible, he is just clueless guarding the paint. It's a good season to learn on the job, however.

Brown is a horrific rebounder. He shows some signs on offense but his rebounding is almost as bad as Malcolm Gilbert, who will go down in infamy for registering 0 rebounds in a Green Tree game

I am not saying he is a good rebounder. I am saying that he is better than Kene and Peace. Kene often has bad positioning or gets discarded or loses rebounds he should get. Peace is frequently off balance, often knocked to the ground and loses rebounds he should get.

Brown is much further along as a rebounder than either of those two. He is most often in the right position and most often secures rebounds that hit his hands. All three definitely need to get stronger and more experienced.

One thing that Brown, Kene and Peace all need to do is to learn, or will themselves, to start getting rebounds "out of their area." I'm not sure any of them have done that this year, nor does it seem like any of these three "beats" anyone for a rebound.

I'm not sure how much this is a skill that can be learned or improved. But to the that end, I think we could have said much the same thing about Ryan before this year. But this was exactly something that it looked like Ryan started to do in the early part of this season.

Hopefully Brown's defense improves with increased playing time.

Brown and Peace need to add bulk/muscle. Is the dude with the giant braids part of the S&C program? If he’s not, he should be. I’d have brown and peace live with him during the off season.

He is the S&C Coach, and I agree they need to get stronger.

I would disagree. On a scale of 1 to 10 on rebounding. Brown is a 1. Chuckwuka is a 3.

Kene is not very good. From what I read before he got here, I expected him to be worse than Tyrone Haughton, though. So he really doesn't upset me.

He also has some ability to block or alter a shot. I agree. He needs more minutes and Kene less. Milligan's minutes have nothing to do with Brown's.

Interestingly, by rebounding rate Brown is easily the best of the three on the offensive glass, with Ilegomah trailing and Chukwuka way behind, but on the defensive glass Chukwuka is the best of the three with Ilegomah second and Brown the worst.

The defensive numbers are much closer than the offensive ones.

Brown is definitely one of the more talented bigs the program has seen recently, and I too would like to see more of him.

But, one of the criticisms of him while people were digging info on him during his recruitment was that his focus and intensity was spotty.

I can see that, he does seems to drift a bit, and generally needs to eat his Wheeties.

Whatever Stallings limitations, he does know how to develop players. I suspect he is handling him the way he is for a reason, cause as this thread clearly communicates, the other options are fairly painful.

I’ll make it simple-
His offensive plusses don’t negate his poor defense and rebounding.

Of course, he’s the best of the group in total-
Mostly because kene stinks and peace on a good team wouldn’t see the floor for 2 more seasons
