LSU got their first SEC win, dropping Arky to 0-4. Torvik has them at a 10% chance to get in. You figure they probably need to go 7-11 to get in and its unlikely they win 7 of their next 14. ESPN has them with a greater than 50% winning percentage of 5 more games. Cal needs to learn that he has to get old and stay old by using the portal for mid-major 23 year olds.

Cal is a recruiter, I'm not sure he is much of a coach anymore. It is becoming pretty clear lately that one-and-dones do not win you championships. Maybe you can sandwich one or two around a veteran ball team, but, it's just not a formula that works. Arkansas is going to get very tired of Cal very quickly if they continue to pour out the money for these kids and they don't win basketball games.
Rutgers is the perfect example. They have 2 probable NBA All-Stars on their team and are 9-8.
I would say Cooper Flagg is an exception to the rule. His body is already developed and he is a monster. Most kids that young are not physically ready.
Cal has a decent mix of youth & vets. For whatever reason, he can't get any of his teams to play together, or with any consistent effort. Musselman had a team full of upperclassman last year & the Hogs were terrible.
