-Offensive and Defensive specialist. Whitehead Leads Pitt and the entire nation in tackles (for freshmen) as a freshmen with 88. Starting to score TD's on offense. Big Time hitter, fast and athletic. Michigan was an average team in the 90's. Woodson made them a great team and won the National Title, Woodson the Heisman. Pitt is an average team. Can Whitehead make Pitt a great team in 1-2 years?

Woodson as a senior

Whitehead as a freshmen

-Whitehead is really good, but can he become a great at Pitt? He's already helped the Pitt turnaround this season. Is he the ACC freshmen of the year? I'm not sure how he isn't.

Talk about Deja Vu, I thought I saw this exact same thread on the main boards.

Next time, change the title at least. :p

I hope Peppers will be in on that race as well, but with him missing a year, that would mean his time would have to be next year, and I don't see it. Multi talented guys are so much fun to watch....when they play for your team anyways. Good luck to your young player.

This was suggested by an AP Pittsburgh beat writer on The Fan 93.7 today. So thats where this came from.

At least cant turn pro until after his Junior year if he does turn out to be that good.

Can and will....keep him at safety where he will play on Sundays...right amount of time and deployment on O

Does he return punts?
