The bomb has been dropped as drips and drabs have been coming out right near the end of last season, and hole has grown since then and after yesterday. I will report what I was told a few months ago, and that has grown even bigger today. There are developments on pending court cases that actually have added to and will know more by next week.

Simple answer you own characterization calling it the "Sandusky Affair" is a misnomer and in itself indicates the complexity of a Cover Up that lasted 1998-2011 and abuse that happen since 1970s. There is no simple answer in any language as more keeps coming out, on criminal charges on appeal, many civil lawsuits, and still federal investigation ongoing with charges within the Judiciary and OAG?
The Penn State Football Scandal Bombshell was dropped over 5 years ago with Debris everywhere and ongoing, and even then that was just Bomb that was being constructed for over 40 years? The Clery Report alone is 1200 Pages and came out in 2013 and still has not been made Public?
There are no new bombshells just remnants of the first ones, that has left many holes for others to clean up. As they continue to do the clean up, many people are stepping into those holes, tripping over new revelations, and finding more debris and it has impacts expanded beyond Penn State University!
It is this Debris and how to clean it up that is impacting on the Penn State's Football Program, and that is what is being worked on and how it is affecting James Franklin abilities to coach at Penn State just like it did to O'Brien. And what I am told is still incoming fall out. When I get more I will post it as told, just like I do with all information relevant on Football.

As stated, will know more next week, but new developments in other areas too. It all stems from the fall out of the Scandal, it not just about one thing, it is the Totality on many things and Penn State is trying to come to terms with all of it.
I will post what I was told, then anyone can attack, challenge, or contradict any content, and accept what others think of it. Penn State is doing it best to deal with this mess left over.
In reality, Penn State is one of the Finest Models of Compliance since 2012, and many other Universities are adopting their Model and was worked with and approved by the NCAA Monitor as well as many others hired to implement them.

One of the reasons that didn't happen when JoePa warned "We need to be fair to Jerry." Do you recall any details on when this statement was made? Also, I think the statement was made by one of the 3 after JoePa phone call?
My point is, not only did Joe know, he had a hand in stopping the process to out Jerry to the law after the shower incident was seen and reported!

It is not an easy subject to discuss briefly or in depth, nor black and white, and has become a far bigger issue still being resolved in what will be permissible to use before or during the Trials, or Plea Bargains or Dismissals, as the Appeal Court under Interlocutory Appeals do allow delays in these cases. There are cases on PA Court Records that Child Molestation Cases took as long as 13 years to resolve due to Interlocutory Appeals?
To be very fair, the problem still stems from the sloppy investigation by the PAOAG along with many ancillary mistakes made with more misjudgments that hindsight can make look silly but no one knew what to do until more evidence came out?

The Criminal aspects are all still playing out going on 4 years now and changes in Judges, Elections, and other aspects that impact everything have taken place, still coming this year in those people, causing more unknowns and delays that are legally allowed under Defense & PAOAG Interlocutory Appeals with Courts deciding and still on Interlocutory Appeals.
Still, it not just the criminal aspects causing problems for the Penn State Administration, Trustees, and Football Program but Civil Lawsuit developments too, and that will be explained later this week on what is impacting more problems as told to me, already known and some publicly coming out anyway.
Resolutions of those problems cannot be made either until some of these many other issues are decided.

this process is too slow to expect "bombs being dropped." We are not gonna wake up one day and read the trib and see some earth shattering judicial decision on this.. How many years ago was this and honestly, has anything happened? Fines have been given, punitive damages but is anyone in jail besides Jerry of course? Delay after delay and the public loses interest, the desire to see heads roll fades..
There is no longer anymore Bombs coming, it came, and just on going debris and clean up, that is taking years to resolve and more years to come.

The only person responsible to enforce NCAA Rules, execute Clery & Title IX Acts, and comply with AIA, Ethics, and makes ure Coaches have Players under Judicial Affairs is the President with oversight by Trustees.
Coach Paterno was a Great Football Coach and out worked many others, but he was above the University and the Fans made him a Saint, not himself, and when he put himself ahead of the University well, it is what it is, and the Scandal Shame the Name of Penn State. It is a tragedy for his Legacy but he knew in the end it was a Nightmare for the Children too, and that does not away from his brilliant coaching but it also cannot exonerate it happen on his watch and he said we should have done more.
I can separate much of what is Great about Penn State University and Joe Paterno and take heat for standing by my views, but it is also Joe's Legacy that currently has the University divided, and that is fact not a view.
The Reforms have been put in and more later this week, when I can confirm some things and anyone can challenge the information, or help confirm it, and that is fine with me.
Hi Cap - I consider the Ped Scandal pretty much over. Once the victims were all paid off there was no one advocating anything. The bottom line lesson is "Football First and Only - especially when it makes a lot of money" - the beat goes on at Ped State. The 3 stooges will walk - no one has the stomach to prosecute them. .The Pa AGO is in shambles as is the Pa court system - awash in scandals. One has to wonder what happened on to the Cleary Report - I've seen more than one article about campus sex assaults being unreported at a variety of campuses - yet the Clery Law is largely ignored
