Kid averaged over 30 a game in the WPIAL last year as a junior. 6’1” guard but can score. Senior this year at Butler with some low level offers. I think he’s worth taking a look at it.

Playing for Rick at Iona is probably a better offer than playing in front of 1K with a lame duck coach at Pitt, no?

TJ Wainwright. He can shoot and is prepping this year at Montverde. Killed it at the the National Prep Showcase recently from 3 point range. We are involved as is Oregon, Xavier, Depaul and others. Had a good summer in the EYBL. Southpaw that can penetrate and hit the floater off the bounce. On the smaller side at 6'3, but this team clearly needs shooters badly.
He isn’t playing for Slick Rick. He is going to Elon.
There isn’t a guard with his offensive skill set on this roster. He’d easily be our best scoring threat in the backcourt.
Ah, okay. Not saying Pitt shouldn't be miles ahead of Iona, but not sure I'd say that heading into the 22-23 season. Seems like someone you definitely offer given we likely have several spots to fill. If he's local and only committed to Elon, could be a guy that sticks to his commitment even if we make a coaching change.
