All rival kidding aside, WVU's schedule looks fun. I wouldn't want to have to fly to all those away games as a player but there are a lot of cool games for their fans to attend and to watch when on the road. Especially the kind of shootout games they play.

I knew that UPS' schedule was soft like Charmin but gosh, only 3 teams above #63!!!!

I bet there are quite a few non-P5 teams that have harder schedules than that! If they lose more than 3 games with that they ought to hang their heads.

On the other hand, WVU has a handful. They have a good chance to go 5-7.

If Franklin on that schedule goes 7-5 or even 8-4, it may look ok, but in reality it is hard to see how he can't win at least 9 and 10 games, with so many bottom feeders? Penn State will grow wary in a hurry if that happens, recruits too!

Moreover, I expect Meyers, D'Antonio, and Harbaugh to run up the score on Franklin to dent his ability to recruit in the future.

As well as to a lesser extent Maryland's Edsall, Rutger's Flood, Indiana and Temple seeking to beat Franklin for the same reasons, but that is still a tall task for all of them and Pitt too?

Recruits and Fans may be impressed with 10-2 with such a light schedule is forgotten, but blow outs by some schools and close losses to other lesser Programs could be Franklin's Achilles Heel?

On the other hand, Franklin could do that back on them with the talent he is recruiting? The difference is PSU fans expect this to happen and if it doesn't happen, could be some big trouble.

The CULTists and Jay Paterno ran O'Brien out of town and he couldn't wait to get to the NFL soon enough. The Cultist mocked President Erickson and AD Joyner but now love Franklin and it was them that found and brought Franklin to Penn State?

No early poll is as good as the final ones. yet, they do the Polls early anyway. It is a fair comparison when they apply to everyone and they rank PSU 28th! It is measurement for all schools for the Pre-season.

Hmmnnnn, quite disagree in most cases Pitt fans had to accept Chryst because of a Bozo Athletic Director and many liked Chryst but the judgment on him was still not over, and has returned to Wisconsin and the judgment on him can there as far as I am concern. No one hounded Chryst out of Pitt he wanted to go home!

Kind of what you do to the PSU Trustees, President Erickson, and AD Joyner when the had to clean up the mess Paterno, Spanier, Curley, and Schultz left, this is what you read today on BWI is it not?? At least, the New Reforms led to Franklin being selected. I respect both O'Brien and Franklin and have no problem in saying it! Chryst came to Pitt because no one else would offer him a job, and Athletic Direcrtor Pederson botched another Coaching Hire and that was his 4th if you count Nebraska too?

I can accept that from you, but that was not the case, they couldn't get him to retire because there was no Institutional Control. The only way he got fired was because major crimes on children were exposed at Penn State, not due to his win and losses?
