CFU winning streak ended.

UCF wins this game going away with Milton. His backup struggled mightily which is good for Pitt next year.

And if LSU starts all their players they beat the brakes off UCF with Milton.

It shows why these bowl games have become a joke, 3 of top 4 DB’s don’t play for LSU then 2 more get ejected. If a full 1/3 of your starters aren’t playing there’s something wrong there.

As far as the Milton/Mack QB situation, the UCF coaches have said all season that he is going to be a great player and had been tearing it up in practice. There had also been speculation that he was so impressive that even if Milton returned there would be an open QB competition between the 2 next year.

Milton was a big recruit for them with multiple P5 offers, including one from Pitt. They will be fine on offense if he is the starter next year, but their defense will probably be worse if that’s possible.

This puts the UCF myth to bed.
At the end of the game one announcer said they're a good program but not a CFP contender.
The back-up was really good and LSU had people out which is a wash.

I'm guessing you didn't watch the game. Mack was 11 of 30 for 97 yards. Milton could have done that from his wheelchair.

I’m not sure that winning every game except one, and putting up 32 points on LSU is struggling mightily. But I hope you’re right about it being good for Pitt.

11 of 30 for 97 yards is "really good"?

Guess you didn't watch the game either.

Their QB's. Fits. Even at home next year. Allow me to be the first. Paris to spy UCF QB!

Some of it . Nitter vs Kentucky was more interesting.
Against LSU with their pass rush that wasn't to bad. He did well in other games after the starter went down!

Total offense LSU 562 yards, total offense UCF 250.

UCF picked up some easy pts. via breaks which count.

UCF is a heck of a team and if your team went undefeated, you'd want a shot at the playoffs regardless of your schedule as well. Hopefully they fall off next year so Pitt can at least compete with them.

I watched the game, at this point he’s more of a runner than a passer, Milton also would’ve struggled mightily against this LSU defense playing with a full complement of players.

Had both teams been at full strength this line would’ve been a hell of a lot higher than 7.5.

Keep an eye on Mack next year. They will be putting up their usual 40-50 points every game against AAC defenses.

My original comment was about "this game". With Milton, UCF wins it easily imo. That's it, nothing else.

Fair enough, I will also state again that with both teams at full strength LSU would’ve been an even bigger favorite. Somewhere in the 10.5-11 range probably.

Plus LSU was handed a free/fake TD, when they sacked LSU stopped them and LSU was HANDED A FREE PASS with a BS unsportsmanlike flag. Those are the things that make the sport FAKE, erasing a REAL RESULT over something that's not part of the game itself.
