Chain link fences around Gate "A"

Can the Rooney's make the stadium, any more unappealing and difficult to maneuver?
I was once given a 3 hour Private Tour of the Stadium, it is all about Security against a Terrorists or Mental Attack and they have many Rules to protect them from liabilities in the event of a such an attack. Each week an Insurance Consultant will come out and inspect the site and suggest added protections, based on their policy they never want to payout, threat levels, and overall just good management. Happens every where in all sports event that attract many people!

The fence that was there after the game created such a bottleneck while leaving the stadium, that it took a ridiculous amount of time for us to make our way back to the parking lots.

If there was ever a terrorist attack after the game, the " security experts" created a situation where there were several thousand people jammed into a small, confined area and unable to get away.

Haha every time I make my way to the main gate, I remember the scene from Red Dawn when people were imprisoned in a drive in theater. Hearing the bullhorn instructions even adds to the ambiance.

This is one more reason why I have come to enjoy away games more than home games.

I didn't authorize it and believe in your comments, I just explained, when I given a tour even moving into certain areas requires special passes. No clue what and why they did it!

Capn, I've always wondered this: why do you capitalize random words and color & bold your font?
Just my own style, been doing it for years! I like CAPS because I am a Captain!;) Just kidding with a Grid, but it is just a style and provides Headlines for the Topic Titles!

This.

It appears when they expanded the seating and redid the open endzone they didn't consider the plaza outside. It's such a bottleneck that if people needed to evacuate the stadium in a hurry they'd be screwed.

Just like before the games they create a situation where a thousand people (or whatever the number happens to be) are jammed into a small, confined area and are unable to get away while they wait to be wanded at the gates. And the best part is that you stand there with your keys and your phone in your hand while the security person runs the wand right past your hand and so far at all the football and basketball games I've been at I have never once had the wand register anything and have never seen it register anything on anyone else. If the wands are set so "unsensitively" that a cell phone and a hand full of keys aren't enough to set the detector off, just what would someone have to be carrying to set it off? And what could someone sneak in with that still wouldn't set off the detectors?

There's a reason why what they are doing is known as "security theater".

The fencing is ridiculous and makes if feel like they are herding cattle into the slaughterhouse before and after the game. Beyond being unsafe for emergency situations, it does not help the flow into or out of the stadium before or after the game. They need to ditch the fences and open up the plaza outside the stadium like it used to be.
