It was 3rd down. On that play and the couple preceding it there seemed to be absolute confusion with the ISU coaching staff and players. A couple false starts, shuttling players in and out, and almost letting the play clock run out twice in a row.

Lincoln Riley didnt look great either, they had multiple chances to put that game away but chose to go ultra conservative for most of the second half.

Up 48-40 now after that odd play where the QB just KO’d the official on the ball fake. No lead is safe with this Ole Miss team though, they make little attempt to play any defense at all.

And of course there is turnover #6 by Corrall to lose the game, what a stinker by him.

For all the talk about losing Joe Burrow and Joe Brady LSU still managed to average 33 points a game this season despite having to use 3 QB’s and playing one of the toughest schedules in the country.

It shows you how lousy Bo Pelini’s defense was from game #1 to the finale today. I can’t believe they’d bring him back.
