Chris, watching the replay, it appears as though V. Carter was across the line of scrimmage and while the ball was in the air was hit about 1.5 seconds before the ball got there and Carter was pushed back behind the line where the ball hit Carter in the back. Can you please review the NCAA rule on Pass Interference in that scenario. If the ball is in the air and the receiver is beyond the line, and hit, doesn’t this constitute Pass Interference? I was unaware of the rule of no P.I. behind the LOS. Thanks for your help.
